Join us to discover Florida’s wildlife after dark with Sarah Denison Williams, Community Education Manager with Big Waters Land Trust. In this presentation, we’ll discuss nature’s night shift, from bats and owls to raccoons and amphibians, and learn how to identify these elusive animals by their unique behaviors, sounds, and markings. We’ll also cover practical steps you can take to help create a safer environment for both wildlife and people as we coexist in urban and suburban areas. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast or just curious about Florida’s nighttime critters, this presentation will shed light on the incredible biodiversity that thrives in the shadows. This program is recommended for teens and adults. This is a lecture-style program that may not be suitable for small children. This program is provided in partnership with the Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center at the Alligator Creek Campus. Reservations are required – Tickets are available for $10.25 per person.
