Prescribed Fire in Florida Presentation

Join Sarah Denison Williams, Community Education Manager with Big Waters Land Trust, for an insightful presentation on the critical role of prescribed fire in Florida. Participants will gain an understanding of how fire has shaped the landscape of Florida for thousands of years and continues to be an essential tool for land managers today. We will discuss how prescribed fire helps maintain healthy habitats, supports biodiversity, and reduces the risk of catastrophic wildfires.
